I'm posting this in 'Mental Health Week', 2020. At the start of the Coronavirus outbreak lockdown in the not-so-UK, police immediately saw an increase of suicides and suicide attempts. The WHO now believes that the virus has sparked a global mental health crisis with humans the world over now living with ramped-up anxiety, depression, in mourning and with job loss, let alone the economic deprivation to many. (With reference to Coorte - one of his asparagus paintings was the last thing I saw at the Fitzwilliam before lockdown) and Mr Cope.
